Wow. The weather has been downright beautiful this week on Padre Island. Each day seems prettier than the one before with 80 degree temps and plenty of coastal sunshine. The early spring can be a bit changable but, now it seems to be settling in to that perfect springtime with new flowers and comfortable days. I was walking the beach in my sandals when I was struck by the sudden compulsion to get my feet wet. It seemed like months since I walked the beach ankle deep but, now the water too is perfect for wet walks. Somehow there is nothing quite as satisfying as a little splash to your step and the nice cooling effect of salt water on your toes. I highly recommend it.

For those of you who havent had your feet in the salt water for far too long - now is the time! Leave your shoes at home and come visit.
