Padre Getaways condo and vacation property rentals are seperated into two categories.  South Padre Island is on average only a quarter mile to half a mile wide.  This very narrow Island puts almost every property within a short walk or drive to the beach or bay side.  So for this reason you are sure to enjoy your stay on the island no matter where your rental is.

Bay Side Vacation Rentals
The vacation properties located on the bay side of South Padre Island enjoy spectacular views of the setting sun.  Most of these rental properties face the West and many have a direct view of Laguna Madre (Bay water).  If a private boat slip is a must for your vacation you will only find this unique feature on the Bay Side.  These properties are often within 2 miles of everything the island has to offer and typically are less than half a mile from the nearest public beach access.

Beach Side Vacation Rentals
The vacation properties located on the beach side of South Padre Island tend to have the best view of the rising sun as most of them look directly out on the Gulf of Mexico out to the East.  Some of these properties are found in the interior of the island with a short walk to the beach access.  These properties range from right on the beach to just steps away from the beach.  Check out the descriptions for specific information on each property.  Most of these properties are within a short walk to the public beach and are within 1-2 miles of South Padre Island's dining and entertainment.

Located within walking distance of the beach as well as all of the entertainment and restaurant venues on South Padre Island, you may chose to dine out every day and night. But if you want to cook in, you will enjoy a kitchen that is furnished everything you need for a home cooked meal.

A washer and dryer and garage parking add convenience to make this the perfect location for your stress free South Padre Island Getaway!
