This year’s inaugural SPI Wahoo Classic is taking place Friday, September 9 through Sunday, September 11, 2016 beginning at Jim’s Pier, 211 W. Swordfish St., South Padre Island. The Angler’s Challenge will be for Wahoo, Black Fin Tuna, and Dorado/Mahi Mahi. Registration for the tournament can be made on online. Payment by check must be made no later than September 1, 2016. Early registration by mail or online is $300. The entry fee paid at Captain’s Meeting on Friday, Sept. 9 is $350. Payment is accepted by check, credit card, and Paypal.
There will be a whopping $15,000 in cash prizes handed out during the SPI Wahoo Classic this year. Prizes are as follows:
Second Largest – $3,000
Third Largest – $2,000
